On Friday, July 20, 2012, Dr. Stephen Slade and Dr. Greg Parkhurst were the first doctors in the United States to start this new national corneal crosslinking trial for keratoconus and post lasik ectasia patients. 

This procedure can potentially cure two blinding eye diseases and has gotten national media attention.
