Laser Cataract Surgery: Dr. Walton Lectures to Resident Surgeons
- Posted on: Aug 30 2018
Our very own Dr. Bennett Walton spent August 18-19 in Fort Worth, Texas on faculty at a resident surgical education program.
Dr. Walton spoke to resident ophthalmic surgeons from California to New York about how to do cataract surgery.
Dr. Walton has taught cataract surgery to over 150 resident ophthalmic surgeons in the past few years through this program.
Specifically, Dr. Walton instructed these residents about advanced devices for complex surgical cases and the use of the femtosecond laser to assist in cataract surgery.
If you remember, laser assisted cataract surgery was pretty much born in our office! We were the first clinic in the USA to complete the first femtosecond laser cataract surgery on February 25, 2010.
If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with a cataract and you would like to be treated by the office with the longest experience in laser assisted cataract surgery, please call our office today at 713-626-5544 to be seen by Dr. Bennett Walton or Dr. Stephen Slade!
