Dr. Bennett Walton was invited to return to lecture to second year ophthalmology residents from across the U.S. at the Continuing Specialized Education Second Year Resident Forum.
This forum was held in Fort Worth, Texas. Dr. Walton lectured on the safe use of intraocular lenses for cataract surgery, with specific emphasis on modern, advanced technology lenses, including the optical properties that allow patients to see — in many cases — better than they’ve seen in a long time.
He also lectured on post-operative care to ensure a smooth healing process. On Sunday, Dr. Walton guided residents through some of their first surgeries through practice surgery lab stations and simulators.
