Golf stars also suffer from contact lens issues, eye allergies and eye infections!

A little background…Rolex No. 1 Lydia Ko is a professional golfer who became the No. 1 ranked woman professional golfer in 2015 at only 17 years old making her the youngest player of either gender to be ranked No. 1 in professional golf!

She then became the youngest woman, at 18 years old, to win a major championship when she won The Evian Championship in France in Sept. of 2015. Last year, in April 2016, she won the ANA Inspiration, where she also became the youngest player to win two women’s major championships.

Sounds like a super hero right?

Well, even super heroes get eye infections! And when you depend on your eyes for your job (not only Lydia Ko, but pretty much all of us) you need to trust your eyes and contact lenses to the right eye doctor.

Lydia Ko made headlines this past weekend when she withdrew from the Volunteers of America Texas Shootout Saturday morning due to a viral eye infection.

According to her agent, Ko has been fighting allergies all week due to pollens in the air in the Dallas area, which made the irritation worse. She suffered a similar issue at the ANA Inspiration last year where she had to play with one contact lens!

We hope Lydia’s eyes feel better fast so she can keep winning those trophies!
